1. Before The Shoot

Your maternity and newborn photography journey begins well before the day of your session. I pride myself on being responsive, dependable, and kind, ensuring you have an exceptional experience from your initial enquiry to the moment you receive your images.

Access to a convenient client portal ensures easy retrieval of all your important documents and helpful information. This feature ensures everything you need is at your fingertips, making the entire process smooth and stress-free.

Before your session, I book a pre-session phone call to discuss your vision and all the essential details. Additionally, I provide comprehensive clothing guides to help you choose the best outfits for your photos. This allows me to prepare thoroughly and identify any potential challenges in advance.

With my extensive experience, I can share helpful tips and ideas you might not have considered, ensuring we capture the best possible moments for your photographs.

2. Day Of The Shoot

When I arrive for your session, we’ll start by taking a moment to check in and see how everyone is doing. This little touch helps set a relaxed and friendly atmosphere for the session ahead. We'll then move around your home, finding the best spots with natural light to create beautiful and intimate images.

Throughout the session, I gently guide you with encouraging suggestions for poses that capture the essence of your connection. You're welcome to make your environment as comfortable as possible—brew a cup of coffee, play your favourite music, or even share your birth plan or birth story if you like.

My goal is to put you at ease, allowing us to capture genuine and heartfelt moments. If at any point something feels uncomfortable or you’d like to make changes, I’m open to be led by you. This approach ensures we create natural and authentic photographs.

3. After The Shoot

After your session, I dive into editing a select few images right away because I’m just as eager as you are to see them! With permission, I’ll share a sneak peek so you can start enjoying and sharing these precious moments with your loved ones.

Once your photos are ready, you’ll get an invitation to schedule your gallery reveal. On the chosen date, you’ll receive an email with a link to your gallery, displaying all your beautifully edited images. In your client portal, you’ll be able to review and approve a quote for your collection. Once this is done, an invoice will be generated, and upon payment, your images will available for download for you to delight in and share with your family and friends.
